Vintage Styled Family Photo Shoot!

~ "Loved our retro summer family photo session........even incorporated a few bunnies and chickens. Jacinta did an excellent job and made it fun!"  ~  Maclean Family

When Lorna asked if we could do a vintage styled family session I was ALL over it. I get very excited when my clients ask for non traditional styled portraits. Her sister's property was the perfect canvas and incorporating some furry and feathered friends was a blast. The ladies did their own hair, makeup and styling. They did a fantastic job. Here are some highlights from that fun filled morning. :)

"We loved having our family pictures taken by Jacinta this summer. She made it very fun for all of us and the pictures were amazing!"  ~ Whitlock Family

The beach is the place to be in PEI in the summertime and last summer was no exception. Gorgeous late day sun and low tides made for amazing reflections and stunning images. This awesome family I got to photograph used to be my neighbours back in the day when I lived in Charlottetown, PEI. Their middle son was still in diapers when I saw them last and I got to meet their youngest son for the first time at our photo session. We had a lot of laughs and got caught up on the last 10 years or so. I love these moments and now they are forever captured in pictures. Thanks again guys for having me and it was so nice to see you after all this time. Here are a few highlights! XO

"We most certainly loved our experience and are thrilled with our memories captured that evening."  ~ Kenny Family

I had the pleasure of having these fun kids in front of my lens for 3 summer seasons now in PEI. This year Mom & Dad were able to be in the pictures. YAY! There is something so amazing about my lifestyle portrait sessions in my homeland of Prince Edward Island, Canada and being on the beautiful beaches there. This family was no different and what made it even more special is that Janice and I were neighbors growing up. That July evening was full of sandy feet and laughs. Thankfully the brewing storm in the distance held off so we could finish our session. I look forward to another Christmas card in the mail from this sweet family to put on my fridge again this year. Thank you Janice and Co. for trusting me to capture these special moments. Here are a few highlights.  XO
